A place to speak of cheese and things

Almost 6:30 PM. I guess this is more of a night post than a day post. It was still raining today, but there was less lightning and thunder so that’s good.

The exciting part about today was that I went to a coffee factory! That’s right. A place where they make coffee. Now I’m not a coffee person… actually I don’t drink coffee at all, but this place was really cool! The bad news is that I didn’t have my camera… The one day where I’m not carrying my camera around and something exciting happens.

You’re probably wondering, well if you were going to go to this factory why didn’t you bring your camera Romina?! Well quite frankly because I didn’t know I was going to go! And much less did I imagine that I would be given a personal tour around the workings of this humongous location. It was an impromptu thing. I know… random right? Usually when you think of impromptu you think of jumping into the pool with whatever you have on or going to the cinema without knowing what’s playing. Nope, I went to a coffee factory.

Well, the good news is that the owner said I could come back any time that I want! And I really do want to go back so that I can take pictures of this amazing place for you guys. It was really incredible and I think most of you would be in awe with the history of how this company began. I promise that I will return and take those pictures.

The thing is that it’s easy to forget to be spontaneous. I’m terrible at that and the worst part is that I know I am, but I don’t do anything about it. Being able to get up and do something every day takes a large amount of courage. I wish I could live my life like that every day. Life should be about doing things that you’re afraid to do sometimes. I don’t mean jumping out of a plane or anything, but simple things. Like going to an amusement park one weekend or taking a road trip to a place a few miles outside the city.

Maybe my new years resolution should be to take more risks? Well, let’s not get ahead of ourselves… See? I’m scared already.
