La Vie en Rose

Hello blogosphere,

I saw La Vie en Rose. I bet that I am the last person to see this wonderful film. Indeed, it was wonderful. There were certain elements I probably could have done without, but those were only one or two. Aside from that the film is a work of art and Marion Cotillard’s performance really is oscar worthy.

I just wanted to let you know that I would recommend it to anyone. Those that love Edith Piaf and those whom have no idea who she is (but who does not know Edith?).

You’re not the last person to see it, because I haven’t seen it yet, but I do know who Edith is. Her life is so full of mystery and mythology nobody knows how much is true. I should see it to find out how the movie handles that.

Wow! You got to meet Marion Cotillard. Very awesome.

I’ve been listening to Edith Piaf’s music for years (since my 9th grade French teacher introduced me to her songs). La Vie En Rose was a powerful film, and Marion put on an amazing performance in her portrayal of Edith.

I heartily second the recommendation. If you have never seen this film, watch it. And if you have never listened to Edith’s music, get it now! Good call, Romina.
