First Bokeh
I decided to post two pictures for today. This is my first intentional attempt at bokeh. I got a camera (Nikon D90) for Hanukkah/Christmas. It’s my first “real” camera. Yes, all of my other cameras were fake. But I can’t complain because both of my Nikon Coolpix cameras that I have owned have both been amazing fake cameras.
On the other hand, I am very excited about owning the heaviest thing that I will ever carry around. Unless I have a baby, but even then… I think the Nikon D90 wins the weigh-in. Sorry unborn baby!
I figure that I am going to fumble, mumble, and stumble through every shot I take with this contraption, but it’s exciting. I’ve never been happier with a camera and I certainly have never felt more serious. Now when I go to parties or get togethers people wonder “Is she the official photographer or does she just really loves taking pictures?” I’ll be the Inspector Clouseau to their evening, the James Bond to their day, the Sherlock Holmes to their… well you get it.
