A kid swimming with dolphins

Hi, I found these pictures the other day of when I swam with dolphins. I was pretty young, maybe 12 or 13. I’m not really sure how old I was so I’m just guessing here. I swam with them at the Miami Seaquarium.

First I’ll start with me hugging the dolphin. (:

Dinner Tonight: 07152010

Quick post for tonight’s dinner. I had one of my personal favorites… rack of lamb. This time I made it a little bit different than usual, and it came out pretty delicious.

For the rack of lamb I used black pepper, cayenne pepper, lemon pepper, powdered mustard, basil, dill, and a few other things I won’t give away! (:

Along with the rack of lamb I put mushrooms, green bell pepper and yellow bell pepper.

The salad is spinach leaves, strawberries, blueberries, mozzarella cheese and tomatoes. I made the dressing with black pepper, vinegar, olive oil, pure honey, and a little bit of dill over the top.

Dinner Tonight: 07132010

So tonight, I had to make chicken because that’s what my father took out of the freezer to defrost early in the morning. He had plans to make his own chicken, but then I said I wanted to cook and then when I saw how sad he was I made a deal… he made 5 chickens in his style and I made 5 chickens in my style!

My father wanted to make breaded chicken. Of course his are the “darker” looking ones (yes, that is a euphemism).

Mine are the light colored chicken. At the top left is a salad, bottom left is green bean casserole, and to the right in the little cup is Hooters special chicken wing sauce (don’t ask too many questions about this one).

Salad
-Spinach leaves
-Cut up strawberries
-Tomatoes (but not the big ones, medium ones. Not the baby ones either)
-Whole blueberries

Green Bean Casserole
-Green beans
-Mushroom Soup
-Milk
-Pepper
-French Fried Onions (these come in a can, I didn’t go to France to get them)

Tangy Fried Chicken
I have the recipe card in hardcopy (yes people, I’m talking about real life paper) so I took a picture. I hope that you can read it.

Dinner tonight

This is what I made for dinner tonight.

On the left there is potato salad (which I did not make, that is my father’s specialty) and a new salad that I just invented and have never tried before. On the right is the main dish, which is filet mignon.

New Salad
-Strawberries
-Blueberries
-Shredded mozzarella cheese
-Olive oil/Vinager
-Salt & Pepper
-Some kind of leaves that my friend Babette brought to my house on Saturday

The meat
-Filet mignon steaks
-White potatoes
-Red, yellow, & green bell peppers
-Mushrooms
-Various seasonings that are going to remain top secret

That was my meal for tonight. I hope that you enjoyed it as much as I did!
