Yesterday I discovered something incredible. It’s called book-cut sculptures. These aren’t just sculptures made out of books, but rather, books turned into sculpture.

Here is an example from an artist, Su Blackwell. In case you didn’t already recognize it, this sculpture in particular is Alice in Wonderland (one of my favorite books, by the way).

I think that it is amazing how this is done (if only I knew how it was done!). There are some wonderful images of examples of this form of art if you just search for it. I think that it’s baffling and I wanted to share it with you all.

I don’t want you to think that my blog has turned into some kind of collection of lists. Although that would be fun, I’m afraid it isn’t going to be that way. Never fear though, when the opportunity presents itself I will dive into the challenge of making another list of anything!

Basically I just wanted to say that I finally received “Unbreakable” in the mail today and it looks awesome. So, I shall have fun times with this movie. :)
